New Windsor Recreation has asked us to move our practice tonight from the Mt. Airy Soccer fields to the Mt. Airy Softball fields #3 and #4.

Congratulations to the Sabres TeamPrimo GU18 on their great performance this weekend at the Ramapo Valley Showcase. It featured victories over a feisty Capital United team, a very good Prima Diparma team from NJ and two ties versus Levitown and Wappingers. In my view, we beat the two strong teams we played! We earned our first Championship of the 2011-12 season!!! Most importantly, you played good high level soccer, a brand more like is played in good college programs than some of the high school soccer I saw this past year. The college coaches watching you were impressed. I urge you to take advantage of this accomplishment to write your coaches!

Special thank you to Aly Burns who “guested” with us and played great in goal! It is not easy to guest play, and especially in the goal. Thank you for keeping us organized in the back and denying the opposition of scoring chances.

The Mt. Airy Fields have not recovered from our snowstorm, and once again Mt. Airy fields are closed.
